Lead financial management, reporting, and compliance while contributing to conservation efforts across Ontario. As the Finance Director for Ontario Nature, you will oversee all financial functions including budgeting, auditing, and strategic forecasting.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Executive Director and Board to provide actionable financial insights. You will manage a small finance team and enhance financial systems to support the organization's mission of protecting wild species and spaces. Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial management including cash flow and payroll oversight
Ensure compliance with audit processes and regulations




Provide strategic financial recommendations to leadership
Mentor and manage finance staff effectively
Develop performance reports connecting financial health to conservation efforts

Requirements:
Significant senior finance experience, preferably in non-profits
CPA designation preferred
Robust knowledge of accounting standards for charities
Proven experience in budgeting and Board-level reporting
Ability to lead and support financial systems improvement
