Enhance mental health treatment as a Forensic Psychologist at Providence Care Hospital. This full time role focuses on psychological services for individuals involved in the justice system.
You will collaborate with an interprofessional team to provide psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services under the OPSEU 4104 collective agreement. By utilizing your expertise, you will support clients with responsible mental illnesses and actively engage in research and program evaluation initiatives. This position also includes opportunities for mentoring psychology graduate students while adhering to highest skilled standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments using standardized methods
• Deliver individualized rehabilitation programs to clients
• Provide treatments to alleviate psychiatric symptoms
• Engage in research and program evaluation activities
• Teach and mentor students and colleagues in psychology
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from accredited program
• Registered with College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts
• Minimum two years experience in mental health
• Strong commitment to teaching and supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
