In this pivotal position, you will join WSP's Rail & Transit team, reporting directly to the Rail Systems Engineering Manager. Your expertise will help deliver secure and reliable rail systems while collaborating with Chief Engineers and technical specialists. Key responsibilities include developing signal systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and develop signal systems for various rail types
• Prepare technical specifications and detailed calculations
• Conduct checks on signal designs from the team and third-party sources
• Create compliant signage schemes and documents
• Collaborate with clients to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of railway signaling experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent
• Robust knowledge of Canadian Rail Operating Rules
• Experience with signaling design and system testing
