Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately code and abstract inpatient and outpatient health information
• Assign ICD-10 codes according to hospital guidelines




• Review and correct CIHI submission error reports
• Engage in coding improvement projects and initiatives
• Respond to inquiries related to coding processes

Requirements:
• Diploma in Health Information Management
• Current CHIMA certification
• Minimum one year experience in coding and abstraction
• Basic knowledge of CIHI systems
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
