About the OpportunityAn established and growing organization in the construction and development industry is seeking a detail-orientedJunior Accountantto join its collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking to build a long-term career with a company that values continuous learning, teamwork, and professional growth.You’ll play a key role in supporting multiple entities while working closely with project managers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure financial operations run smoothly.What You’ll Be DoingProcess accounts payable, ensuring invoices are accurately coded, approved, and paid according to payment terms.Match purchase orders to invoices and maintain accurate job costing information.Prepare accounts payable forecasts and cheque runs.Set up and maintain vendor accounts and supporting documentation.Process accounts receivable transactions and customer payments.Perform bank account and general ledger reconciliations.Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end accounting activities.Prepare and file GST returns and other government remittances.Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration (training provided).Maintain inventory, financial records,
