Seaspan Shipyards is seeking a General Supervisor to oversee weekend operations in North Vancouver. This role involves ensuring work adherence to safety standards and quality while managing trades teams effectively. The successful candidate will conduct performance evaluations and maintain employee documentation, including timecards and leave requests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure work progression meets safety and quality standards
• Enforce Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes
• Report work status and escalate issues to Management




• Allocate trades employees based on skill and schedules
• Manage performance and attendance for trades crew

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of trades work experience
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of heavy manufacturing processes
• Robust communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and web applications
