This role involves journeyperson-level trades work under general supervision, focusing on HVAC and related mechanical systems. You will install, maintain, and repair heating, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment, using sound judgment for effective troubleshooting. Your ability to maintain records and communicate repair needs will be crucial for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair HVAC and mechanical systems
• Diagnose issues using technical skills and judgment
• Maintain accurate work records, including time and materials
• Operate and maintain shop equipment responsibly
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a protected work workplace
Requirements:
• Several years of journeyperson-level experience in HVAC repair
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems
• Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
• Capability to perform physical tasks associated with trades work
