TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Data Product Owner
Job Description Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 10+ years of experience within financial services industry, specifically in product innovation delivery, with positive understanding of business drivers and levers
Solid understanding of data science, analytics, or data engineering, which provides deeper technical credibility and ability to engage with technical teams (Robust understanding of the data lifecycle, analytics, and software development processes)
Deep experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), writing user stories, and managing backlogs in tools like Jira or Confluence.
Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, use cases, and business applications
Strong proficiency with MS tools (Excel, Word, PPT) and PowerBI
Nice-To-Have Skills:



Experience with cloud data platforms, or data modeling is an asset
Experience in Insurance bus
Soft Skills Required: Proven ability to analyze ambiguous and complex problems and translate them into clear, actionable development tasks.
Excellent communication, active listening, and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate between business and technical languages
