The Accounting and Payroll Specialist supports the Director and Manager of Finance, ensuring reliable financial operations. You will conduct bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and reporting alongside other department managers to enhance financial processes. Experience in a non-profit or unionized setting is preferred for this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll tasks
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations
• Collaborate with management for process improvements




• Support financial operations from a feminist perspective
• Maintain accounting integrity in a vulnerable community setting

Requirements:
• 2+ years full-cycle accounting and payroll experience
• Diploma or degree in accounting or relevant field
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Knowledge of ADP Payroll Processing System is an asset
