Become a Behaviour Consultant at Fraser Valley Child Development Centre, focusing on delivering behavioural support services for children and families. Collaborate with experts to enhance child development outcomes.
This part time role involves working under the Family Services Department Leader to provide evidence-based behavioural services within an integrated Early Intervention team. The consultant will assess, develop, and implement individual intervention plans while also providing training for parents and caregivers. You will play a vital role in fostering skilled relationships and ensuring quality improvements in services offered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized goals
• Implement and monitor intervention strategies with families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for effective support
• Train parents and caregivers on behaviour management strategies
• Contribute to quality improvements of service delivery
Requirements:
• Master's in Education, Special Education, or Psychology
• Minimum three years' experience with children facing challenges
• Certified RASP category A or BCBA eligibility required
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
