This full time role requires applicants to have a CHIMA-recognized Health Information Management program and active CHIMA certification. You will code patient data, complete abstracts according to CIHI guidelines, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Experience with Manitoba Abstract Data Elements is preferred, along with a detail-oriented approach to ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assign diagnosis codes based on patient records
• Complete patient abstracts following CIHI guidelines
• Use Folio Views for coding and data selection
• Prioritize tasks to meet coding deadlines
• Collaborate with the team while working independently

Requirements:
• 3 years experience with ICD-10-CA and CCI coding
• Active membership in CHIMA required
• Knowledge of Indigenous customs preferred
• Solid communication skills in oral and written
• Proficient with computer usage for extended periods
