Elk Valley Resources is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Engineer in Training to enhance electrical systems across our coal processing facilities in the breathtaking Elk Valley, British Columbia. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and cutting-edge engineering solutions.

As part of our dedicated team, you will report to the Electrical Superintendent and focus on enhancing electrical performance across our facilities. Collaboration with operations and maintenance teams is crucial to improve reliability and performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. You will also leverage your expertise to troubleshoot electrical systems and support preventative maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for fixed plant electrical systems




• Develop and manage predictive maintenance strategies
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company standards
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives
• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions

Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum three years of experience in Electrical Engineering
• Prior experience in heavy industry
• Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
