We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing (Teaching and Scholarship). This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the delivery of excellent teaching within our undergraduate / postgraduate nursing programmes within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work, School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
You will be responsible for: Contributing to the design and delivery of nurse education and related support in respect of teaching
Setting and marking authentic and inclusive assessment and providing timely high-quality feedback to students
Providing effective student support via academic advisement
Engaging in scholarly activity which includes knowledge transfer/external engagement
Contributing to the effective running of educational programmes,
enacting leadership and service roles as required

Essential Criteria: Nursing, Midwifery Council (NMC) registration on the adult field nursing pathway
Demonstrable clinical experience in acute adult nursing settings
Relevant first and higher degrees (educated to MA/MSc or near to completion of MSc/MA; minimum completion of PGCert)
Demonstrable commitment to evidence-based enhancement and development of teaching and learning
