As a Production Associate, you will be actively involved in various stages of plant care, from watering and pruning to transplanting, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Assist with watering and irrigation systems to ensure optimal moisture levels for plants
Perform routine plant maintenance including pruning, trimming, and staking to promote healthy growth
Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively for plant care tasks
Monitor plant health regularly, identifying signs of pests or disease and reporting issues promptly
Support harvesting activities by preparing plants for harvest, including cutting, sorting, and packaging
Maintain cleanliness of the cultivation area, ensuring a protected and organized workspace
Assist with inventory management of supplies such as soil, nutrients, and tools
Skills
Must have experience in a Health Canada regulated LP of cannabis.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practices to support plant health
Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment used in cultivation processes
Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care best practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling plants or materials
Basic math skills for measuring nutrients, adjusting watering schedules, or recording data accurately
Experience with hand tools such as pruners, trowels, or soil testers is preferred
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning current skills
