Responsabilités Fulfillment and coordination of responses for Canadian licensing and/or registration, acting as the company’s respondent.
Maintaining a central repository of all licensing and regulatory correspondence.
Managing relationships with regulators and business partners to accurately represent the company and meet regulatory requirements on time.
Ensuring uniformity in the presentation of regulated activities in all regulatory declarations, requests and communications.
Independently reviewing information provided by subject‑matter experts to ensure documentation is responsive and timely.
Interpreting, understanding and applying statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure appropriate compliance.
Conducting legal research to evaluate the applicability of laws to licensing requirements.
Reviewing and analyzing financial and transactional reporting for responsiveness and accuracy.
Collecting, maintaining and providing highly sensitive company and personal officer information to regulators.
Coordinating the provision of regulatory notices of company business information, changes or updates to enforcement actions.
Qualifications et exigences Minimum five+ years of experience in complex retail/consumer financial services or payment services organizations, or a regulatory agency/legal firm involving compliance issues related to anti‑money laundering and related money transmission laws.
Minimum five+ years in financial industry licensing, regulatory oversight, or exam management.
Understanding of retail/commercial financial services products and anti‑money laundering regulations, and provincial money transmission laws.
Paralegal certificate and/or legal research experience required; CAMS/CFCS certification preferred.
Ability to work with multiple systems, tools and platforms.
Fluent in French and English, oral and written.
Legally authorized to work full‑time in Canada (or the United States for the US posting); Western Union will not sponsor work visas.
Conditions d’emploi Work shift: Remote. Western Union values in‑person collaboration but there is no specific office location; employees may be required to travel for occasional on‑site collaboration with their manager.
Rémunération et avantages Base annual salary range: 90 000 – 100 000CAD.
On‑target compensation includes base salary plus short‑term and long‑term incentives tied to individual and organizational performance.
