Join the City of Saskatoon as a Fleet Services Supervisor on the Night Shift. Oversee shop operations and guide employees in the Transportation and Construction division.

This acting position involves supervising shop workers while directly participating in Journeyperson responsibilities as needed. You will assign tasks, provide mentorship, and coordinate with service teams for efficient fleet maintenance. Your leadership will ensure safety and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Delegate tasks and supervise daily shop operations
• Mentor and develop staff skills and capabilities
• Collaborate with Superintendents on campaigns and updates




• Coordinate maintenance and safety inspections for the fleet
• Communicate shop performance with Fleet Services leadership

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and a valid Journeyperson designation
• Five years in the trade and three years supervisory
• Valid WHMIS certification and Class 3A Driver’s License
• Secure driving record and current driver’s abstract
• Solid ability to build effective relationships
