Join the BC Cancer Foundation as a Development Officer to lead efforts in leadership giving across the Fraser Region. Focus on impactful fundraising to support cancer research and care initiatives.
In this role with the Discovery Circle team, you'll manage over 250 mid-level donor prospects, cultivating relationships and securing gifts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. Engage donors through various communication tools while collaborating with other Foundation staff to optimize donor integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Secure and steward leadership gifts through personal engagement
• Identify growth potentials in donor giving patterns
• Build relationships with senior organizational partners
• Achieve annual fundraising activity goals
• Keep donor information current in our database
Requirements:
• Recognized degree or diploma in relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years in fundraising or donor relations
• Track record of securing mid-level donations
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel across the Fraser Region
