Take charge of the Royal Military College's Men’s Hockey Program as Head Coach. Lead practices, select athletes, and manage budgets while promoting a culture of inclusion and teamwork.
The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is searching for a Head Coach to oversee the Men’s Hockey Program at RMC. This influential role encompasses all program phases, from athlete identification to technical skill development and program evaluation. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential, along with availability for evening and weekend practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct athlete identification and team selection
• Plan practices and set competition schedules
• Develop athletes' technical and tactical skills
• Oversee program budget and fundraising efforts
• Ensure adherence to RMC/CAF/OUA policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Physical and Health Education or related field
• Completion of Coaching Association of Canada modules
• Proven hockey coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Ability to counsel athletes on academics
Drive the success of the Men’s Hockey Program and support athlete development at RMC.
