Lead research initiatives as the Lab and Research Coordinator at the Community Transportation Research Lab in Fredericton. This full time position emphasizes project management and funding collaboration.
As a key team member, you will work with faculty and students to fulfill research objectives and grant applications. Responsibilities include identifying funding prospects, managing project activities, and facilitating community outreach. Your involvement will be crucial in ensuring the lab’s goals are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage funded projects, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
• Identify and scope research projects for students
• Prepare documentation for research services and financial processes
• Coordinate funding applications and partner collaborations
• Organize lab development, workspace, and equipment needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
• 1 - 5 years of experience in transportation engineering
• Robust organizational skills and project management training
• Ability to work in English and French is an asset
• Familiarity with MS Office tools
