Enhance the experience for students and staff as a Process Improvement Specialist at Simon Fraser University, focusing on service optimization and cross-unit collaboration. As a key part of the Transforming the SFU Experience initiative, you'll work alongside project teams to identify barriers, document processes, and implement user-centered improvements. Your expertise in process mapping and analysis will contribute significantly to improving organizational efficiency and reducing administrative burdens. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct current-state assessments and process mapping
Identify pain points, duplications,
and service gaps
Organize documentation and track findings
Prepare explicit decision-support materials for stakeholders
Facilitate working sessions with faculty and staff Requirements:
Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodology
Five years of experience in process improvement
Robust analytical and documentation skills
