In this registered role, you will report to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, focusing on high-acuity settings such as the Intensive Care Units and Emergency Department. Your vital skills in airway management, including intubations, and your participation in rapid response teams will be essential to effective patient care. You will also have the responsibility of mentoring students in the clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee ventilation management and weaning strategies
• Serve on Trauma and Code Teams as needed




• Manage airway interventions and tracheostomy insertions
• Facilitate respiratory treatment based on patient needs
• Educate and evaluate respiratory therapy students

Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario
• Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program Diploma or Degree
• Current BCLS certification required
• Experience in Acute and Critical Care settings needed
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills required
