Become an On Call Education Assistant at Stz'uminus Schools in Ladysmith, BC. Assist students in various educational and developmental activities during the school term from September 2026 to June 2027.
In this role, you will support children’s learning under the guidance of teachers and specialists, ensuring a positive classroom experience. You will be responsible for both academic and non-academic tasks, such as supervising lunch and recess, assisting with special needs, and maintaining the classroom setting. Your contribution is essential in promoting both student engagement and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for student integration into classrooms
• Monitor students’ progress in academics and behavior
• Assist in various school activities,



including field trips
• Help organize classroom materials and keep spaces tidy
• Foster social skills and self-esteem among students
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent
• Relevant certification or experience with children
• At least three months working with youth
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation
• Must clear a Criminal Record Check and Screening
