GMS is looking for a motivated Boom Truck Operator to manage deliveries from our distribution center. This essential role includes transporting large materials, ensuring truck operation complies with regulations, and maintaining a high standard of service to our customers. You'll also be responsible for manual handling of materials and effective communication on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the truck
• Load and unload drywall sheets manually
• Transport goods following all safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
• Communicate with customers and other teams on-site
Requirements:
• Class 1 driver's license with air brakes endorsement
• Level A crane ticket with a minimum of 1 year
• Positive practical communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Capable of lifting over 100lbs
