EllisDon is seeking a Superintendent to manage large complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

- Provide overall construction management, including design, budget, and schedule, in conjunction with the Project Manager, owners, engineers, and architects to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression.
- Mentor project team members to ensure growth opportunities and development.
- Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving conflicts.
- Monitor, interpret, and forecast a project’s cost reports, ensuring alignment with the estimate and maintaining positive cash flow.

Qualifications

- Construction‑related degree and 6-8 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience on large projects (Design Build, P3, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, or Healthcare).




- Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions, and lead a large team to successful completion.
- Ability to manage trade relationships and keep schedules on track for project success.
