Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hastings, ON, overseeing projects from initial planning through completion. This position coordinates excavation, backfilling, driveway, clearing, and landscaping work, managing schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating project plans, tracking progress, resolving issues on site, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

The Project

Manager will review site conditions, monitor quality and safety standards, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.



This role also includes preparing reports, managing documentation, and contributing to process improvements across projects.

Qualifications
Project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple jobs effectively.
Experience in Expeditor and Logistics Management functions to manage materials, equipment, and schedules across sites.
Inspection skills to assess work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications on excavation and landscaping projects.
Background in construction, civil works, or site services is strongly beneficial.
Robust organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Explicit, professional communication skills for working with crews, clients, and vendors.
Ability to work in office in varying weather conditions and navigate active construction environments safely.
Proficiency with basic project management and documentation tools; familiarity with construction drawings is an asset.
Relevant certifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields are an advantage.
