In this key role, you will be integral to Galleon Gold's underground operations, ensuring that safety policies meet legislative standards and promote a secure setting. You will oversee training for operators and new hires, coordinate safety inspections, and support project leadership in maintaining regulatory compliance. A proactive leader is essential to mentor employees and champion effective training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Conduct incident investigations and safety observations




• Coordinate site orientations and employee inductions
• Train and mentor underground equipment operators
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years underground mining experience
• 2 years in a safety/training role in mining
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner certification
• Train the Trainer certification required
• Solid knowledge of mining health and safety legislation
