Take the lead on impactful initiatives with the Canadian Bar Association as a Policy & Advocacy Manager in Vancouver. This full time, hybrid position emphasizes cooperative policy development and volunteer engagement.

As the Manager, you will report to the CEO and work closely with volunteer lawyers to identify reform opportunities. This role involves managing a small team and guiding policy direction to ensure effective advocacy for the legal community in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support a team of 2–3 staff
• Lead 5–10 volunteer committees to create policy recommendations
• Oversee development of briefing notes and submissions
• Advance policy recommendations through strategic advocacy
• Monitor developments in the justice sector and impact analysis

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in political science, law, or similar
• Five years in policy development or analysis
• Three years of supervisory experience
• Solid decision-making and analytical skills
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in policy

Drive impactful legal reform and advocacy efforts at the CBA in this vital managerial role.
