Reporting to the Supervisor of Corporate Budgets, this position plays a pivotal role in preparing Operating and Capital Budget Summary documents within a municipal context. You will consolidate multiyear budgets, provide training to departments, and ensure compliance with municipal regulations. Your efforts will significantly impact budget accuracy and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the preparation of Operating and Capital Budget Summaries
• Provide training on budget guidelines and reporting requirements
• Update and consolidate multiyear budget scenarios




• Review submissions for authorizations and necessary adjustments
• Ensure compliance with municipal regulations in budgeting

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in finance or business
• Minimum 3 years of municipal financial experience
• Skilled accounting designation, CPA preferred
• Knowledge of Municipal Act and related regulations
• Completion of Municipal Finance and Accounting Program
