Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will manage daily cash operations, guide the accounts payable team, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Ideal for an experienced accountant, this position suits those who thrive in a team-oriented setting with diverse responsibilities across treasury and corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily cash management and cash flow forecasting
• Administer OpenInvoice accounts payable system effectively
• Guide and support the Accounts Payable Administrator
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Requirements:
• Five years of progressive upstream oil and gas accounting experience
• Proficient with Qbyte, OpenInvoice, and Microsoft Office
• Relevant undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation considered an asset
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic setting
