We are seeking Child Protection Social Workers for vital programs including Assessment and Children in Care. You will play a critical role in supporting children and families, developing case plans, and promoting access to community resources. Collaboration with families and communities is essential in ensuring children's welfare and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of child safety and wellbeing
• Work directly with families to create case plans
• Support community interventions and resource connections
• Participate in legal proceedings as needed
• Plan and supervise the care of children under the Minister's jurisdiction
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work or Bachelor with relevant experience
• Registration eligibility with NS College of Social Workers
• Sound understanding of intervention strategies and family dynamics
• Robust problem-solving skills with creative solutions
• Valid driver’s license essential
