In the role of Supervisor, Rail Testing, you will focus on safeguarding the reliability of trains across the CPKC network. You will supervise the operation of advanced testing machinery while ensuring your team's compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership is essential for smooth operations and effective communication with the Roadmaster regarding equipment and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive to various locations for daily inspections
• Operate and calibrate rail testing tools
• Collaborate closely with road management personnel
• Issue protective slow orders as necessary
• Commit to a 2-week on, 1-week off rotation
Requirements:
• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous experience in the railroad industry
• High proficiency with computers and troubleshooting
• Mechanical repair skills needed
