Manage operations at the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre, leading your team in strategic initiatives and community programs until March 31, 2030. Your role connects history and culture with engaging visitor experiences.
In this term position, the Operations Manager will oversee the interpretive centre's operations and community engagement strategies. You'll manage facility logistics, public programming, and all special events, working closely with First Nations to enrich Yukon’s cultural landscape. Your leadership will ensure effective delivery of services and enhance partnerships among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily operations and facilities management
• Guarantee program delivery and visitor engagement
• Manage security and maintenance projects for the center
• Build team-oriented relationships with diverse community members
• Facilitate mentorship programs within the heritage sector
Requirements:
• Degree in Museum Studies or related field
• Experience in facility operations or museum workplace
• Solid leadership skills and budget oversight experience
• Background in building cooperative partnerships
• Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license
