Take charge of IT operations as the Lead IT Support Specialist at Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government in Ucluelet, BC. This role combines leadership with strategic IT oversight to enhance community services.

In this full time position, you will provide direction for Helpdesk and Deskside Support. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems while guiding vendor management efforts. This role is essential in supporting operational needs through effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise IT Helpdesk operations and performance
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies
• Manage external vendor contracts and relationships
• Monitor systems for performance and availability




• Coordinate technical projects and strategic planning

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in IT or related field
• 3+ years of IT experience, 1 year in supervisory role
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and cloud services
• Knowledge of data privacy legislation and IT risk
• Class 5 BC driver's license and travel capability

Lead critical IT initiatives for the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ community through effective technology management and team leadership.
