Shape the financial strategy for Capitalize for Kids as the Director of Finance. In this hybrid role, you will guide financial operations and provide strategic insights from day-to-day transactions to high-level analysis.

This is a hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the President & CEO. As Director of Finance, you will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance within a charity dedicated to improving youth mental health. Your expertise will directly impact the financial integrity and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise part time Bookkeeper’s work and transactions
• Ensure timely month-end financial reporting and analysis
• Maintain and configure QuickBooks Online for reporting




• Lead multi-year budget development in collaboration with executives
• Prepare audit documentation and financial statements

Requirements:
• 7+ years of financial management experience
• Proficiency in MS Office365 and QuickBooks Online
• Robust knowledge of not-for-profit accounting standards
• 3+ years in a leadership role preferred
• Relevant university degree
