Job Summary The Personal Support Worker delivers hands-on personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes, supporting their physical health, hygiene, mobility, and comfort. PSWs are a core part of Marquee Active Care's service delivery and work closely with the scheduling and care operations team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
● Support mobility and transfers, including use of mobility aids as required.
● Assist with meal preparation and feeding support where needed.
● Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.
● Observe and document changes in client condition; report concerns promptly.
● Perform light housekeeping directly related to client care and safety.
● Follow infection control, safety,
and MAC care-plan protocols at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Minimum 1 year of experience working as a PSW in home care, long-term care, retirement, or hospital settings (required).
● Completion of a recognized PSW certificate program (Ontario).
● Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
● Current First Aid/CPR certification.
● Two professional references from prior caregiving roles.
● Fluent in English; additional languages an asset.

● Reliability and consistency — clients depend on predictable care.
● Sound judgment in recognizing and escalating health or safety concerns.
Working Conditions
Work takes place in clients' private homes. Schedules may include daytime, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts. Physical demands include assisting with transfers, mobility support, and personal care tasks.
