Lead the CNC Research Forest's management and applied research activities. This role emphasizes environmental stewardship and financial sustainability while fostering collaborations with First Nations and industry partners.

Reporting to the Vice President Academic, the Manager orchestrates all aspects of the CNC Research Forest, ensuring compliance with legislative and skilled standards. Your leadership in applied research will influence forestry and natural resources while ensuring educational support for the Natural Resources & Forest Technology program. Actively engaging with community partners, you will uphold the principles of Truth & Reconciliation in every aspect of your work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee operations and activities of CNC Research Forest
• Lead applied research initiatives in forestry and natural resources




• Manage environmental stewardship and sustainability practices
• Ensure support for students in the NRFT program
• Communicate effectively with the CNC Research Forest Society Board

Requirements:
• Experience in forestry or natural resource management
• Solid financial management skills
• Expertise in applied research and project management
• Commitment to Indigenous partnerships and community relations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
