Join NACG as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic in Fort McMurray, specializing in off-road equipment maintenance. This position offers competitive hourly rates and opportunities for growth.

We're seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic adept in servicing CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment. You'll work in a remote mining site, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy machinery. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining effective operations and ensuring top equipment performance in office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete repairs on heavy off-road equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose faults in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems




• Mobilize equipment for scheduled maintenance
• Mentor apprentices and junior mechanics

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years post certification experience
• Valid Journeyperson Equipment Technician Certificate
• Proficient in diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of working in safety-sensitive environments
