In this full time role, located within the Office of Learner Affairs, you will assess learners’ needs and facilitate access to counseling and treatment plans. Your ability to engage with learners in crisis will be vital as you manage cases and foster relationships with support services. This position emphasizes nurturing health specialists’ development through targeted interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen for short-term counseling eligibility and provide psychotherapy
• Manage cases requiring coordination of multiple health services
• Develop effective treatment strategies and implement plans
• Guide groups in emotional and behavioral skill-building
• Collaborate with campus resources and health service providers
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent
• Minimum five years in educational counseling
• Experience working with diverse learner backgrounds
• Knowledge of anti-oppression frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities
