Under the guidance of the Financial Services Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with relevant policies and developing effective risk management strategies. Your expertise will support streamlined purchasing and improve service delivery in this vibrant Vancouver Island community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and administer the City’s procurement policies
• Ensure procurement compliance with bylaws and agreements




• Conduct risk identification and assessment
• Develop governance frameworks for risk management
• Foster community partnerships enhancing procurement practices

Requirements:
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• CSCP or NIGP certification is essential
• At least five years of public procurement experience
• Minimum three years in a supervisory role
• Experience in local government is an asset
