NexGen is looking for a Lead Security Specialist at the Rook I site, located 155km north of La Loche, Saskatchewan. This position demands solid leadership and communication skills to drive the Rook I Security Program and ensure safety for all personnel.

In this management role, you will administer the security program and mentor contracted staff effectively. Applicants should have at least 7 years of experience in heavy industry and command respect with a solid background in security operations. You will be responsible for incident investigations, compliance with regulations, and conducting security assessments to enhance operational safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Coordinate site access control and inspections




• Conduct and oversee security breach tests
• Monitor ongoing security risks and develop action plans
• Provide expert support on regulatory compliance

Requirements:
• 7+ years in security management, preferably in mining
• Education in security management or criminal justice
• PSP or CSSM certification preferred
• Robust digital literacy and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
