Elevate patient care as the Patient Safety Manager with Island Health, overseeing safety initiatives across multiple sites with a focus on quality improvement. This remote role requires solid leadership and project management skills. Reporting to the Director, you will lead a geographically dispersed team of Patient Safety Consultants and Coordinators.

Your expertise will drive the implementation and evaluation of essential safety initiatives, including the Patient Safety and Learning System and Medication Safety. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and committees ensures effective organizational processes and enhances patient safety culture. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement patient safety systems and processes




Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and committees
Lead quality improvement initiatives across Island Health
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Manage change through effective project management

Requirements:
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Seven years of experience in quality improvement
Proficiency in office management systems
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead teams in complex settings
