Position

Manufacturing Assistant (4 Month Summer Term) – Antec Controls

We are looking for a student who is technically inclined, who thrives on new challenges, and who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering disciplines are all welcome to this position.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

- Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces
- Write and maintain procedures for production processes and production control
- Support manufacturing projects to improve production layout, processes, jigs, systems, and equipment
- Support orders through production

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

- Enrolled in post-secondary education for Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or Technologist or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for detail
- A cooperative team player attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- An aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
- A high level of critical thinking and accountability
- Experience with hand tools and wiring is an asset
