This position demands expertise in managing ground control functions and delivering geotechnical services per the site’s management plan. As a vital contributor, you'll collaborate with cross-shift teams and oversee the ground control team to resolve geotechnical concerns effectively. Your engagement ensures timely project execution while maintaining safety standards in underground operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead annual reviews of ground control and seismic risk plans
• Direct geotechnical engineering design and analysis processes
• Manage the ground control team for effective communication
• Implement quality assurance and control programs for ground support
• Design ground monitoring instrumentation and seismic system enhancements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Geological Engineering
• Professional engineering registration or eligibility
• Solid knowledge of mine design and operations
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience
• Ability to work a 7-on / 7-off schedule
