As part of the Powell River Mental Health team at VCH, you will need a Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health field and considerable experience addressing complex client needs. You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, delivering therapy and educational services, while developing strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessments
• Provide individual and group therapy to clients
• Encourage client engagement during treatment processes




• Consult with colleagues and community resources
• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary research initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in an appropriate Behavioral Health discipline
• At least three years' relevant experience
• Required valid BC Driver’s License
• Extensive knowledge of substance use issues
• Solid problem-solving and communication abilities
