You will also verify product counts to maintain system integrity while coordinating closely with warehouse and transportation teams. This role requires prompt notifications to key team members about delivery statuses and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and maintain inbound and outbound shipment records
• Coordinate with drivers and verify shipment documents
• Check in drivers and assign loading doors
• Notify team members of pending or unscheduled arrivals
• Enter shipment data into the warehouse management system
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office
• Able to perform basic math for cash logging
• Comfortable working in cold or warm temperatures
• Must be capable of lifting at least 20 lbs/9 kgs
