Join the UHN team as an Overnight Video-EEG Monitoring Technician at Toronto Western Hospital. This part time role focuses on EEG monitoring and patient safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Playing a key role in the Neurophysiology Department, you will monitor multiple patients and respond to seizures effectively. This position requires experience in Digital EEG and Video EEG monitoring, enhancing patient care through interaction and education while adhering to hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor up to 10 patients simultaneously for seizure activity
• Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment effectively
• Prepare hand-off reports documenting seizure events




• Participate in educational activities and minimal patient care
• Follow hospital policies while maintaining confidentiality
Requirements:
• Completion of community college diploma or equivalent
• Experience in EEG or Polysomnography required
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards
• Ability to identify seizures visually on EEG/Video
• Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
