As a BIM Modeler & Drafter in the Engineering Department, you will create general layout drawings and thorough bills of materials. You will also engage with various teams, ensuring high standards in drawings and addressing any related inquiries. This role demands a commitment to quality and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of precast products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze incoming orders and specifications
• Create general layout and detail drawings using Tekla
• Prepare bills of material based on project needs
• Ensure accuracy of shop drawings for fabrication
• Answer questions from departments regarding drawings
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Knowledgeable in 3D BIM software and AutoCAD
• Skilled in reading construction drawings
• Solid responsibility and communication skills
