Fantastic chance for a general adult Psychiatrist to join the expanding Psychiatry department at Kelowna General Hospital. Our group of Psychiatrists provides service to KGH’s 30 bed inpatient unit, 6 bed Adult MH Intensive Care Unit, consults to the medical/surgical units and the emergency department, as well as maintain a community based practice. Duties will include, but not be limited to, patient assessment and treatment, collaboration with clinicians and managers, and assistance with the development and maintenance of appropriate programs, policies, and procedures.

In addition to this, there are multiple opportunities in supporting the Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) clinic or the broader community through telepsychiatry.



This role also offers teaching prospects to medical students and residents as KGH is affiliated with UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program. For those interested, Leadership Development Opportunities are available with Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
