Health-Santé Sud is looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant or Clinical Assistant to join the Surgery team. The role involves assisting in pre-operative procedures, providing surgical support, and engaging in post-operative care. The successful candidate will work closely with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure quality, safety, and productive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with regional anesthesia procedures and patient monitoring
Collaborate to improve Same Day Surgery services




Provide first or second surgical assistance as needed
Conduct post-operative patient assessments with the supervising physician
Support discharge planning and implement ERAS principles

Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program
Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
Experience in surgery or perioperative care preferred
ACLS certification or willingness to obtain
Robust clinical assessment and organizational skills
