Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate standard and complex legal agreements
• Provide oversight on real estate legal services initiatives
• Manage legal staff and support their professional development




• Review policies and assist in draft bylaws as necessary
• Backup support for the Deputy City Solicitor

Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. degree with positive standing in Ontario
• At least five years of experience in municipal real estate
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accessibility compliance
• Demonstrated knowledge of land use planning legislation
